WEEE Product Take Back for EU Customers
In an effort to improve waste management in the European Union, the European Union has enacted a directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE Directive).
If the symbol above is shown on the product or on its packaging, it indicates that this product must not be disposed of with other household waste.
According to the WEEE directive, Winland Electronics must provide direction for the proper recycling of our products that are put on the market after July 1st, 2006.
The owner of a Winland product must dispose of waste equipment by handing it over to a designated collection point for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment. For more information about where you can drop off your waste equipment for recycling, please contact your local city office, your household waste disposal service or the business where the product was purchased. If you have further questions regarding the recycling of your Winland product, please contact customerservice@winland.com. |
