WINLAND ELECTRONICS RECEIVES
THREE QUALITY AWARDS
MANKATO, MN / October 28, 1999 / Winland Electronics,
Inc. (NASDAQ: WLET) recently received three quality awards
at the Minnesota Area Council for Quality (MACQ) Awards Banquet.
Winland received the Corporate Award, which
recognizes organizations who demonstrate their efforts to
continuously improve product and service quality. Finalists
for this award are evaluated on leadership, strategic planning,
information and analysis, human resource management, management,
quality results, and customer satisfaction.
The second award received was in recognition
of Winlands recent ISO 9001 registration.
The third award was a We Try Harder award received
by Linda Annis, Manager of Administration. Linda was nominated
by Minnesota Technology for her extra efforts displayed during
a recent tour of the Winland facility.
