MANKATO, Minn. /February 14, 2008 / PR Newswire / Winland Electronics, Inc. (AMEX: WEX), a leading designer and manufacturer of custom electronic control products and systems; today announced the addition of Warren Mitchell as Executive Supply Chain Leader.
Mr. Mitchell brings more than 20 years of manufacturing and supply chain management experience to Winland. Most recently he was head of Worldwide Supply Chain Management for HiRel Systems, a Minnetonka, Minnesota-based designer and manufacturer of custom magnetic components and power supplies. Previously, he was Vice President, Worldwide Supply Chain Managemen for Pemstar Inc., a publicly traded Tier II electronic manufacturing services (EMS) company that has subsequently been acquired by Benchmark Electronics. Pemstar provided engineering and manufacturing services to the medical, aerospace, industrial equipment, computer, storage and telecommunications industries. Mr. Mitchell’s supply-chain experience also includes senior-level positions with world-class, leading companies in the telecommunications, computers and computer peripherals, and networking industries.
