In an effort to improve waste management in the European Union, the European Union has enacted a directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE Directive).
If the symbol to the left is shown on the product or on its packaging, it indicates that this product must not be disposed of with other household waste.
According to the WEEE directive, Winland Electronics must provide direction for the proper recycling of our products that are put on the market after July 1st, 2006.
When the owner of a Winland product is faced with replacing and disposal of the old product, they must dispose of electronic waste equipment by handing it over to a designated collection point for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment. For more information about where you can drop off your waste equipment for recycling, please contact your local city office, your household waste disposal service, the business where the product was purchased or contact Winland Electronics, Inc. for return of the product for proper disposal at customerservice@winland.com. |
