Electronic water and moisture detection at its best!
The model WB-100 is a stand-alone monitor that operates on a 9-volt transistor battery (not included) and has an audible alarm. It is completely electronic, therefore no slow-to-react floats of tricky mechanical actions to get dirty, stick and fail. The unit has integrated sensor contacts. When a film of water forms a bridge between these contacts, the unit senses this and triggers the audible alarm output. The sensor will not alarm due to condensation or high humidity. The unit includes an audible low battery "chirp" to warn of low battery power. |
